MAC Strobe cream and MAC Prep+Prime Fix+

mac-1
Okay, today I am going to review two products and both are high end (obviously) ;). I am going to talk about MAC Strobe Cream and MAC Prep+Prime Fix+. Let’s start with the MAC strobe cream.
strobe
The MAC strobe cream is an amazing product. It acts as a primer but you can also mix it in your foundation for that perfect glow and you can also use it as a highlighter. You can use it pre-makeup and you can use it post-makeup as well as a highlighter. It gives a very beautiful glow. People with dry skin or normal skin can apply it as a primer but people with combination skin or oily skin should use it as a highlighter because it can make your skin look more oily. You can even apply the strobe cream in your no makeup days as a moisturizer. It will give your skin a very healthy and natural glow. It is not glittery at all and I hate glittery products, so that’s a plus point. Strobe Cream contains mineral pigments to optically “brighten” skin, which basically means particles of shine to make skin look radiant rather than dull. Almost all of the antioxidants included have considerable research documenting their topical benefit for skin. This does contain fragrance, which is the only drawback, but the amount is low. It’s in different shades like pink, peach, silver and gold. I have it in gold and it’s amazing.
Now lets talk about the MAC Prep+Prime Fix+
mac-prep
MAC prep and prime fix+ acts as a primer and also as a setting spray. One pump is enough to cover the whole face. It can be used as a primer or you can also use it as a moisturizer, you can use it to intensify the pigmentation of the powder products. You can mix it with your eye shadows and make them more shimmery.  It makes your makeup very dewy and fresh. It makes your makeup look very blended. It contains a good mixture of antioxidants such as chamomile, green tea and caffeine.  Fix+ is certainly one to consider—it does contain fragrance, but the amount is minor and shouldn’t be an issue for most.
Honestly, I really like both the products but I won’t recommend this to people with oily skin.  But if you have oily skin and you really want to give it a try then go ahead, who is stopping you? 😉
